Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Quality Engineer in Indiana to design and execute control plans, audit adherence, and lead containment and corrective actions. You will work with cross-functional teams to update the QMS and support ongoing improvements.

The role involves leading FAI/PPAP activities, gage and inspection improvements, quality audits, MSA studies, and supplier/customer collaboration. Bachelor's degree in engineering and 0-2 years manufacturing experience required; Lean Six Sigma Green

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • 0-2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills with all levels of employees and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Team oriented with the ability to influence others without authority.
  • Nice to have Lean Six Sigma Green Belt within 3 years.
  • Experience supporting quality activities for new product launches (APQP/PPAP/FAI).

Responsibilities

  • Lead FAI’s and PPAP activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the Quality System.
  • Lead gage and inspection improvements.
  • Conduct quality audits and lead corrective actions.
  • Perform MSA studies (GR&R) and machine capability studies.
  • Work with suppliers and customers; train quality personnel.

Position Summary

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Designs and executes control plans, audits to ensure that control plans are being followed, and ensures containment and corrective action in the event of non-conformance.

Works with cross functional teams to update the QMS.

  • Leads Quality Improvements and Corrective Actions
  • Works with Suppliers and Customers
  • Training quality personal, Machinists on gages & Inspection methods
  • Programming Gages
Education / Experience / Skills

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field, Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial or Materials.

0-2 years of engineering experience (Intern and/or co-op) in a manufacturing environment.

Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills with all levels of employees and management.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while adjusting to changing priorities and project lists.

Team orientated with the ability to influence others without authority.

Nice to have
  • Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma within 3 years
  • Experience supporting quality activities for new product launches, including APQP, PPAP, FAI, process validation, and production readiness activities.
Travel

As needed due to customer issues.
