Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, track transport activities, and support on-time delivery across the supply chain. The role acts as a liaison among production, customer service, shipping, carriers and suppliers to keep materials and finished goods moving efficiently.

The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred in supply chain, logistics, business or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of logistics/shipping/receiving/transportation or supply chain experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems and working with carriers (LTL, parcel, truckload).
  • Strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound freight to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.
  • Schedule transportation with carriers and freight providers.
  • Monitor shipment status and communicate delays or disruptions.
  • Maintain shipping, receiving, and transportation records.
  • Prepare bills of lading, packing slips, export documents and carrier paperwork.
  • Collaborate with production, planning, purchasing and customer service to meet delivery requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies and freight claims.
  • Assist with inventory control and count accuracy.
  • Track transportation costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and transportation regulations.
  • Generate logistics performance reports for management.

Job description

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour

Position Overview

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, monitoring transportation activities, maintaining inventory movement accuracy, and supporting on-time delivery performance. This position serves as a key liaison between production, customer service, shipping and receiving, carriers, and suppliers to ensure materials and finished goods move efficiently throughout the supply chain. The Logistics Coordinator supports daily manufacturing operations by managing transportation schedules, tracking shipments, resolving logistics issues, and maintaining accurate records to meet customer delivery requirements and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound freight shipments to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.
  • Schedule transportation with carriers and freight providers.
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate delays or potential disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and transportation records.
  • Prepare shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing slips, export documents, and carrier paperwork as required.
  • Work closely with production, planning, purchasing, and customer service teams to support customer delivery requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, carrier claims, and freight-related issues.
  • Assist with inventory control activities and inventory transaction accuracy.
  • Track transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and transportation regulations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on logistics efficiency, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Generate reports and provide logistics performance metrics to management.
  • Assist with cycle counting, inventory audits, and material movement activities as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements

High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of logistics, shipping/receiving, transportation, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience using ERP/MRP systems. Experience working with common carriers, LTL, parcel, and truckload shipments. Knowledge of inventory control practices and warehouse operations. Experience with freight claims and transportation management systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
