The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in engineering or manufacturing and 5+ years in quality roles, with strong knowledge of PPAP, ISO9001/13485, and Six Sigma.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or quality-related roles.
Solid understanding of Quality Systems, Methods, and SPC.
Knowledge of ITAR, PPAP, ISO9001, ISO13485 and AS9001.
Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma experience.
Change-agent with strong collaboration and influence.

Responsibilities

Establish a quality system continuous improvement program.
Manage customer quality requirements such as PPAP.
Own the problem-solving process for quality and drive usage through the quality team.
Drive quality direction for new product development to ensure manufacturability.
Maintain critical-to-quality specs, test plans, procedures, tools, and metrics.
Lead resolution of customer complaints with cross-functional teams.
Oversee Returned Material Authorization (RMA) processes.
Qualify new suppliers and raw materials and resolve supplier quality issues.
Mentor team on best practices and compliance standards.
Collaborate with OEM customers to drive quality improvements.

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Position Overview

Position Overview: We are seeking a Quality Manager to join our Fremont team. The ideal candidate brings a solid background in quality management and a hands-on approach to ensuring products meet the highest standards. In this role, you’ll develop and maintain quality systems, procedures, and controls, while working closely with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to quickly and effectively resolve issues. You’ll play a key role in driving compliance, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring reliable product performance through strong problem-solving and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Establish a quality system continuous improvement program
Manage challenging customer quality requirements such as PPAP
Own the problem-solving process for quality and drive usage through quality team
Drive quality direction for new product development and commercialization to ensure products meet performance standards and are highly manufacturable from a quality perspective.
Establish and maintain critical-to-quality specifications, test plans, procedures, tools, and meaningful metrics to control all aspects of manufacturing.
Lead resolution of customer complaints, coordinating cross-functional efforts to identify root causes and implement timely, effective, and permanent solutions.
Oversee Returned Material Authorization (RMA) processes, providing guidance to ensure efficient and accurate handling of returned products.
Develop and execute plans for qualifying new suppliers and raw materials, and work proactively to resolve supplier quality issues quickly and permanently.
Champion a quality culture by training and mentoring team members on best practices and compliance standards.
Collaborate with top OEM customers to drive quality improvements and help the plant achieve and maintain preferred supplier ratings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or quality-related roles
Solid understanding of Quality Systems, Methods, and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Understanding of ITAR, PPAP, ISO9001, ISO13485 and AS9001
Knowledge of quality principles in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to act as a change agent, driving process improvements through collaboration and influence.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence outcomes.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including setting priorities, managing data, and driving results through structured processes.
Working knowledge of Six Sigma methodology and tools
Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.

Expected Base Salary Range

Expected Base Salary Range: [$130,000 – $150,000] The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors.
