Job summary

G&W Electric is seeking an Electronic Technician II to assemble, troubleshoot, connect and test electronic assemblies of basic to moderate complexity.

You will assemble junction boxes and electronic controls per drawings, install and test assemblies, and conduct final inspections. The role requires reading drawings/BOMs, basic computer skills, and knowledge of schematics, ladder logic and Gerber files.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams and BOMs.
• Must have basic computer skills and understanding of electrical schematics and ladder logic.
• Experience with diagnosing and repairing electronic assemblies and using test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble junction boxes, electronic controls and related assemblies per drawings.
• Install and test completed assemblies and perform final electronics checkout inspections.
• Troubleshoot electronics for production and aftermarket support.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing for stand-alone and system-connected controls.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow procedures.
• Train others in moderately complex electronic assembly tasks.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
