Job summary

G&W Electric Co. is seeking an Electronic Technician I to assemble, test and troubleshoot electronic assemblies of basic to moderate complexity.

You will read drawings, install assemblies, and perform final inspections to ensure quality before passing work to the next operation. The role involves working in a manufacturing environment, adhering to safety procedures, and supporting production with documentation and basic training as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with documentation.
• Experience with wiring diagrams, interconnect drawings, schematics and Gerber files is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble junction boxes, electronic controls and other assemblies per drawings.
• Install and test completed electronic assemblies.
• Inspect and conduct final electronics checkout as required.
