Job summary

G&W Electric Co is seeking an Electronic Technician I (Bench) for the 2nd shift to assemble, troubleshoot, connect and test electronic assemblies of basic to moderate complexity. You will work from mechanical and electrical drawings, install tested assemblies, and act as an inspector for final electronics checkout.

Responsibilities include training others, maintaining safety, and documenting actions on production and quality forms while interacting with manufacturing to ensure proper

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and BOMs; basic computer skills.
• Experience with electronics education or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble junction boxes, controls, and assemblies per drawings.
• Install and test completed electronics.
• Inspect final checkout and document actions using forms.
• Train others in basic to moderate testing tasks as needed.
• Troubleshoot assemblies for production and aftermarket support.
