Job summary

G&W Electric Co is seeking an Electronic Technician I (Bench) for 1st shift to assemble, troubleshoot, connect and test electronic assemblies of basic to moderate complexity. You will read drawings, interpret BOMs, and use Gerber files to verify wiring and components.

The role requires basic computer skills, ability to follow procedures in English, and potential mentorship responsibilities. A High School diploma or GED is required; an Associate’s degree is preferred with 1–2 years of electronics

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill development.
• Ideally holds an Associate’s degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or related discipline.
• 1-2 years in electronics technician capacity preferred.
• Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written English instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble junction boxes, electronic controls, and other assemblies per drawings.
• Install and test completed electronic assemblies.
• Act as inspector for final electronics checkout.
• Troubleshoot electronics for production and aftermarket support.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Train others in moderately complex electronic assembly tasks.
