Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead front-line manufacturing operations in our electronics assembly environment. You will supervise hourly staff, oversee schedules, and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include coaching, Lean initiatives, IPC standards compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with 6+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in electronics, PCB assembly, or high-precision manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of SMT and Through-Hole PCB assembly processes; IPC-A-610 certification preferred.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies, including 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise front-line manufacturing employees, including managing hourly production staff to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.
• Oversee daily production operations to ensure output targets are met in alignment with assembly schedules and customer requirements.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, training, and performance management to production team members while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure all electronic assemblies meet IPC standards, customer specifications, and company quality requirements; support troubleshooting and resolution of manufacturing issues.
• Identify process bottlenecks and drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency, increase yield, and reduce waste.
• Enforce compliance with OSHA regulations, ESD controls, cleanroom procedures, and all company safety policies.
• Monitor equipment performance, material flow, and staffing levels to optimize operational efficiency and labor utilization.
• Maintain accurate production records, track KPIs, and provide regular operational updates to manufacturing leadership.
• Apply technical knowledge and sound judgment to resolve production challenges within established procedures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to support business objectives and continuous improvement efforts.
