Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Second Shift Operations Leader to oversee manufacturing operations in the Combustion and 3DP departments, ensuring reliable, efficient production with lean practices. You will lead hourly teams and manage manpower to meet KPIs through disciplined SOP execution.

The role requires 2nd shift availability (2:15 PM–10:45 PM) and a background in manufacturing operations management, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work 2nd shift (2:15 PM–10:45 PM) with some flexibility
• Experience in manufacturing operations management
• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant experience, or a GED with equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Manage an operation to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety; drive continuous improvement.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and execute policy/strategy.
• Understand how own team’s work integrates with other teams to contribute to the area.
• Provide informal guidance to new team members and support talent development.
