Job summary

GE Vernova in Findlay Township, PA is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist - Production Supervision to lead daily shop floor operations, uphold safety, quality, and on-time delivery goals, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

You will provide frontline leadership to production personnel, coordinate resources with maintenance, quality, engineering and materials teams, and foster a disciplined, collaborative culture focused on efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher with significant manufacturing leadership experience.
Experience supervising shop floor teams and driving safety, quality, and productivity.
Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily shop floor activities to meet production schedules and delivery goals.
Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment to minimize downtime.
Monitor operations and reassign work to maintain productivity.
Ensure products meet quality standards and work instructions.
Provide frontline leadership and foster a safe, collaborative environment.
Support onboarding and development of production staff.
Ensure adherence to EHS procedures and safety standards.
Collaborate with Quality, maintenance, engineering and materials teams.
Drive continuous improvement to boost productivity and reduce waste.
Track KPIs such as output, scrap, downtime, and labor efficiency.
