Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead Electronics Assembly Manufacturing within the Electronics Value Stream. You will manage day-to-day production activities and drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) objectives, guiding Assembly Technicians and coordinating with Engineering, Quality, and Planning.

The role reports to the Electronics Production Manager and emphasizes operational excellence, workforce engagement, and on-time

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience with electronics manufacturing.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and ERP/MRP planning systems.
Excellent verbal and presentation skills.
Design for Manufacturing methods and techniques.
Proficiency with MS Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.

Responsibilities

Champion safety and ensure compliance with procedures and trainings.
Improve product quality by adhering to standards and addressing nonconformances.
Meet production schedules and customer commitments through planning and execution.
Reduce costs by minimizing downtime, waste, and rework.
Develop and communicate daily production plans and priorities.
Track performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
Lead daily production meetings and visualize performance metrics.
Collaborate with PM and Planning to mitigate schedule risks.
Assist Master Scheduler with capacity planning and constraint resolution.
Provide leadership, coaching, and development for Assembly Technicians.
Foster employee engagement through training and recognition.
Support new product introductions and manufacturing readiness.
Work with Quality Engineering to resolve issues promptly.
Coordinate with Supply Chain for inventory management and kanban.
