Job summary

GE Aerospace in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing processes, ensure schedules are met, and uphold safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) standards on high‑quality electrical power systems.

You will lead a lean, team‑based operation, drive continuous improvement, read engineering drawings for first-time builds, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and program management to resolve issues and deliver NPI and low-rate production.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with 3+ years in Manufacturing/Engineering, or 7+ years in Manufacturing with a high school/GED.
Experience with new production introduction and low-rate production launches.
Ability to read and translate engineering drawings for first-time builds.
Experience in the aerospace and/or automotive industry.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safety-focused culture.
Accountable for the safety of direct employees and safe work practices.
Maintain high quality by monitoring quality control processes.
Lead manufacturing processes to meet timely and efficient production for new products and low-rate runs.
Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth delivery of products.
Utilize lean principles to drive continuous improvement and reduce waste.
Develop standard work procedures and best practices.
Monitor production data to identify improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and program management to resolve safety, quality, delivery, and cost issues.
Prepare and present reports on production performance and improvement initiatives.
Provide manufacturing guidance for new product introductions.
