Job summary

GE Aerospace in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing processes, ensure schedules are met, and uphold safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) standards on high‑quality electrical power systems.

You will lead a lean, team‑based operation, drive continuous improvement, read engineering drawings for first-time builds, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and program management to resolve issues and deliver NPI and low-rate production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with 3+ years in Manufacturing/Engineering, or 7+ years in Manufacturing with a high school/GED.
• Experience with new production introduction and low-rate production launches.
• Ability to read and translate engineering drawings for first-time builds.
• Experience in the aerospace and/or automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safety-focused culture.
• Accountable for the safety of direct employees and safe work practices.
• Maintain high quality by monitoring quality control processes.
• Lead manufacturing processes to meet timely and efficient production for new products and low-rate runs.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth delivery of products.
• Utilize lean principles to drive continuous improvement and reduce waste.
• Develop standard work procedures and best practices.
• Monitor production data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and program management to resolve safety, quality, delivery, and cost issues.
• Prepare and present reports on production performance and improvement initiatives.
• Provide manufacturing guidance for new product introductions.
