Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Engineer or Principal Engineer Electronics - Communications to join the Aeronautics Systems sector. This onsite role can be performed at Tinker AFB, Rancho Bernardo (CA), Palmdale (CA), Melbourne (FL), or other locations as needed.

You will handle avionics subsystems design, integration, and verification, with opportunities to address obsolete hardware and complex system challenges.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, configuring, and installing avionics subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Performing and executing Statement of Work (SOW) as a Supplier/Subcontract Manager Communications (COMMs) Avionics Subsystem(s).
• Manage program requirements to ensure supplier compliance with design, test, and hardware requirements.
• Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
• Collaborate with Subcontract engineers and stakeholders to implement subsystem performance and environmental requirements.
• Travel up to 25%.
