Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Technician A is responsible for performing functions associated with a variety of manufacturing operations across shared services areas.
• Supporting engineers with equipment setup and calibration activities, performing rework, and quality testing for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Using advanced software programs to collect and evaluate operating data for online adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
• Assisting in developing methods and procedures to control or improve manufacturing processes and supporting engineers in experimental activities.
• Operate inline cleaning equipment to wash, rinse, and dry circuit card assemblies to meet cleanliness and quality standards.
• Perform repaneling of circuit card assemblies by safely separating circuits from production panels to prevent damage and ensure quality.
• Perform cycle counts of circuit components to verify inventory against system records and support production accuracy.
• Support additional manufacturing-related functions as assigned.

Position Type: Full-Time Contract, Contract to hire

Duration: 12 months

Location: Malabar, FL 32950

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will:

• Manufacturing Technician A is responsible for performing functions associated with a variety of manufacturing operations across shared services areas.
• This role includes supporting engineers with equipment setup and calibration activities, performing rework, and conducting quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• The position may also involve using advanced software programs to collect and evaluate operating data for the purpose of making online adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
• In addition, the technician may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or improve manufacturing processes and support engineers in experimental activities.
• Operate inline cleaning equipment to wash, rinse, and dry circuit card assemblies during manufacturing to remove contaminants and ensure required cleanliness and product quality standards are met.
• Perform repaneling of circuit card assemblies during manufacturing by safely separating individual circuits from production panels using approved tools and methods to prevent damage and ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform cycle counts of circuit components during manufacturing by accurately verifying physical inventory against system records to maintain inventory control, ensure material availability, and support production accuracy.
• Support additional manufacturing-related functions as assigned.

Ideal candidate will have

• High school diploma or equivalent and 0 to 2 years of related experience.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Pay Range*

$20-$22 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
