Job summary

Gowanda BTI in Arcade, NY is seeking an Assembler I for the 2nd shift (1:30 pm–10 pm). The role involves basic mechanical and electronic assembly of components, following detailed work instructions and quality procedures to ensure reliable output.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, basic soldering experience, strong attention to detail, and good teamwork. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, with the ability to work on a fast-paced production line.

Qualifications

• Follows written instructions and procedures.
• Meets basic quality and safety standards.
• Capable of basic soldering and reading measurements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical or electronic components using hand tools and fixtures.
• Follow work instructions, routers, and visual aids for routine assembly.
• Inspect parts with calipers/micrometers and document results.
• Maintain clean, organized work area per 5S and safety rules.
• Support material handling and basic equipment setup.
