Job summary

DOC Services Inc. is seeking a Field Service Maintenance Technician (Floater) to service and repair light industrial equipment at big box retailers within a 3-hour radius, with overnight travel averaging at least 2 ½ weeks per month.

You will diagnose mechanical/electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and use hand and power tools to repair equipment. The role requires reading schematics, a valid driver’s license, and at least 2 years’ experience with electromechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to read schematics.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures and provide solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair machines.
• Respond to on-site preventive maintenance service calls within contract time frames.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisor, and coworkers.
