Job summary

DOC Services Inc. is seeking a Field Service Maintenance Technician (Floater) to service a range of light industrial equipment across big box retailers.

The role requires travel within a 3-hour radius and overnight stays for about 2.5 weeks per month, with a flexible schedule and independent work style. You will perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures, and use hand and power tools to repair equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures on equipment and provide solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair machines.
• Respond to on-site preventative maintenance service calls within contract timeframes.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisor, and coworkers.
