Job summary

DOC Services Inc. is seeking a Field Service Maintenance Technician (Floater) to service and repair light industrial equipment at big box retailers.

You will perform preventative maintenance and reactive service, traveling within a 3-hour radius of your market and overnight about 2.5 weeks per month. The role requires mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, use of hand and power tools, and strong communication with customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures and implement solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair machines.
• Respond to on-site preventive maintenance service calls within contract time frames.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisor, and coworkers.
