Job summary

DOC Services Inc. is seeking an Electromechanical Field Service Technician-Floater to perform maintenance and repair on light industrial equipment at big-box retailers within a 3-hour radius.

The role requires travel and overnight stays about 2 1/2 weeks per month, with a flexible schedule to fit project needs. You will troubleshoot electromechanical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and use hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures and provide solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair machines.
• Respond to on-site preventative maintenance service calls within contract time frames.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisor, and coworkers.
