Job summary

As an Electromechanical Field Service Technician, you will meet customer and company expectations by performing reactive, preventative, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic service, traveling from home to customer sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of equipment repair experience or equivalent training.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read schematics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and call management software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to equipment repair.
• Excellent organization, self-motivation and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record with proof of insurance.
• Satisfactory background check required.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform billable work by maintaining, troubleshooting and servicing equipment.
• Follow OSHA, customer and DOC safety regulations including PPE.
• Respond to service calls within required timeframes.
• Document all work with handheld device.
• Order parts and maintain inventory for repairs.
• Arrive on time prepared with tools and safety equipment.
• Travel to and from customer locations.
• Evaluate problems and advise customers on preventive solutions.
• Assist with other duties as needed.
