Job summary

DOC SERVICES is seeking Electromechanical Field Service Technicians to service equipment in big box retail stores across the US. You will work from home, respond to service calls, and perform preventive and reactive maintenance.

The role requires strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, ability to read schematics, and safe operating practices. You’ll travel between customer sites, document work on a handheld device, and order parts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of equipment repair experience or combination of training and experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read and understand schematics.
• Use computer applications including Microsoft Office and call management software.
• Know and understand safety regulations required as it relates to equipment repair.
• Strong organization skills; self-motivated and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform billable work by maintaining, troubleshooting and servicing equipment.
• Respond to all service calls within customer expectations and DOC requirements.
• Provide all documentation as required by customer and DOC through handheld device.
• Order the correct parts needed for the repair and maintain inventory.
• Arrive to job on-time with tools, instructions, parts and safety equipment.
• Travel to and from customer locations and perform inventory reconciliation.
