Job summary

DOC Services Inc. is seeking Electromechanical Field Service Technicians to service a variety of electromechanical equipment for big box retailers.

Technicians work from home, travel to stores across the United States, perform preventive and reactive maintenance, and document service activities using handheld devices. Candidates should have at least two years of equipment repair experience, strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, the ability to read schematics, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of equipment repair experience or combination of training and experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read and understand schematics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and call management software
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to equipment repair
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, and a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Perform billable maintenance, troubleshooting and servicing of equipment
• Adhere to OSHA, customer and DOC safety regulations including PPE requirements
• Respond to service calls within customer expectations and DOC requirements
• Document all service activities using handheld devices
• Order parts and manage inventory as needed for repairs
• Travel to and from customer locations and arrive prepared with tools and parts
• Maintain professionalism and communicate effectively with customers and DSM
• Other duties as needed
