Job summary

DOC Services Inc. seeks Electromechanical Field Service Technicians to service and repair a variety of electromechanical equipment inside big box retail stores across the United States.

Techs work from home and travel to customer sites for reactive and preventative maintenance, electrical and mechanical tasks, and related service activities. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of repair experience, strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read

Qualifications

• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge with ability to read schematics.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and call management software.

Responsibilities

• Perform billable work by maintaining, troubleshooting and servicing equipment.
• Abide by OSHA, customer and DOC safety regulations including PPE requirements.
• Respond to all service calls within customer expectations and DOC requirements.
• Provide documentation via handheld device as required by customer and DOC.
• Perform cost effective service and repairs while maintaining quality.
• Seek technical support on site to avoid delays.
• Be reachable for reactive service repairs by phone unless otherwise approved.
• Order parts and maintain inventory for quick access.
• Arrive on time with tools, instructions, parts and safety equipment.
• Travel to and from customer locations.
• Perform inventory reconciliation and return parts as requested.
• Evaluate preventable service problems and educate or make recommendations to customers.
• Other duties as needed.
