Job summary

DOC Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Maintenance Technician (Floater) to service and repair a variety of light industrial equipment at big box retailers within a 3-hour service radius of the assigned market.

The role includes preventative maintenance and reactive service work, with overnight travel averaging at least 2 1/2 weeks per month. Must read schematics and use hand/power tools; valid driving record required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures on equipment and then providing a solution.
• Performing preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair machines.
• Respond to on-site preventative maintenance service calls within contract time frames.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisor, and coworkers.
