Gradian Thermal Solutions in Maple Grove, MN, seeks an Experienced Designer, Electromechanical, to create drawings and 3D models for cooling systems and components. You will work with engineering to develop manuals and robust documentation for manufacturing and assembly.

The role emphasizes collaboration across Mechanical, Electrical, and Manufacturing teams, with a focus on manufacturability, accuracy, and timely deliverables in data-center cooling applications.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SolidWorks to model assemblies and maintain standards.
• Strong 2D CAD skills for manufacturing drawings and documentation.
• 2–4 years of progressive mechanical/electrical design in manufacturing environments.
• Understanding of manufacturing practices and ability to collaborate with fabrication teams.
• Experience with PDM systems such as SolidWorks PDM, Autodesk Vault or PTC Windchill.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical design including cable routing, wireways, harness modeling, and 2D schematics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Mechanical, Electrical, and Manufacturing engineers.
• Create and modify complex 3D models of assemblies and components.
• Drive sheet metal design work using SolidWorks and best practices.
• Develop manufacturing packages with detailed drawings and fabrication docs.
• Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure documentation accuracy.
• Manage design data, revisions, and BOMs with configuration control.
