Gradian Thermal Solutions in Maple Grove, MN, is seeking a Designer, Electromechanical to create drawings and 3D models for cooling systems and components. You will work with the engineering team, assist in producing manuals, and help document manufacturing and assembly to deliver reliable data-center cooling solutions.

Key tasks include SolidWorks design, 2D CAD drawings, BOM control, and cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of progressive mechanical and electrical design experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and ability to model assemblies to standard.
• Familiarity with PDM systems and documentation practices.
• Experience producing detailed manufacturing documentation is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop electrical design including cable routing, wireway layouts, and 2D schematics.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Manufacturing Engineers.
• Create and develop complex 3D models of assemblies and components.
• Drive sheet metal design using SolidWorks and ensure manufacturability.
• Develop manufacturing packages with shop drawings and assembly instructions.
• Coordinate across Engineering, Manufacturing, and cross-functional teams for documentation accuracy.
• Manage design data, revisions, and BOMs with configuration control.
• Apply mechanical and electrical problem-solving approaches during reviews.
