Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an Electromechanical Design Engineer to join our Linthicum, MD team. The role is on-site, requires a Secret clearance, and involves RF, digital, and mixed-signal module development on state-of-the-art PCBs and CCAs.

You will collaborate within an IPT, design and prototype multi-chip modules, and lead efforts while advancing your technical skills in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience or a master's with 0 years; 4 years in lieu acceptable.
• U.S. Citizenship is required and ability to obtain DoD Active Secret clearance.
• Experience with PWB/CCA design and signal routing, including chip-scale packaging and substrate/PWB layout.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and/or Xpedition; familiar with NX or other 3D modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototyping and production support of RF, digital, and mixed-signal modules and CCAs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IPTs including electrical design, systems engineering, and manufacturing.
• Organize tasks to meet milestones within schedule and budget constraints.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
