Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Linthicum, MD seeks an Electromechanical Design Engineer to design, prototype, and produce multi-chip modules (MCMs), PWBs, and CCAs for RF and mixed-signal applications. This on-site role requires collaboration within an IPT and mentoring of junior engineers.

You'll work with substrate materials, chip-scale packaging, and 3D modeling tools (NX) while pursuing a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience.
• Master’s degree with 0 years of experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• A current DoD Active Secret clearance is required to start.
• Experience with PWB/CCA design and signal routing.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and/or Xpedition.
• Familiarity with NX or other 3D modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototyping and production support for RF, digital, and mixed-signal MCMs, PWBs, CCAs.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional IPT and communicate with peers in adjacent functions.
• Organize and prioritize tasks to meet milestones within schedule and budget.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
