Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Staff Electromechanical Design Engineer in Linthicum, Maryland for on-site work. The role involves RF, digital, and mixed-signal module design and collaboration with IPTs across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.

You will mentor junior engineers and help drive milestones within budget. A Secret clearance is required to start, with potential relocation assistance and full benefits available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or related field with substantial professional experience.
• Active or final security clearance to start is required or can be obtained.
• Extensive experience with PWB/CCA design, signal routing, and substrate/layout.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Xpedition, or NX for design and layout work.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototyping, and production support for RF, digital, and mixed-signal modules and CCAs.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional IPT and communicate with electrical design, systems engineering, and manufacturing teams.
• Organize tasks to meet milestones within schedule and budget constraints.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
