Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Electromechanical Engineer in Linthicum, MD to advance innovative technology across electronics, mechanics and materials. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to design, test and fabricate prototype electromechanical systems while guiding junior engineers.

Qualifications include a STEM degree and 5–8 years of relevant experience, plus the ability to obtain/maintain a US Government Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required and active clearance to start is preferred.
• Bachelor’s or higher in a STEM field with relevant experience.
• Experience with PWB/CCA design and signal routing; familiarity with NX.

Responsibilities

• Apply electrical, mechanical and materials principles to components and systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers to identify solutions.
• Support design, testing, fabrication and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems.
• Mentor team members and oversee CRM tool maintenance.
