Job summary

BD, a leading global medical technology company, seeks a Maintenance Technician in North Carolina. You will service electronic and mechanical equipment, follow blueprints and manufacturer specifications, and operate within cGMP and BD quality systems.

English reading/writing required; rotating shift 6PM-6AM; overtime may be requested. Key tasks include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, inventory control, and supporting engineering projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• Two years technical experience acceptable in lieu of degree.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic, electric, mechanical and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, diagnose causes and repair equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain parts inventory and support with engineering projects.
• Train operators and assist with machine setup and operation.
• Work with controls group to understand/modify PLC programs and ladder logic.
