Job summary

BD, a global medical technology leader, is seeking a Maintenance Technician at USA NE - Columbus. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and repair equipment, while maintaining parts inventory and supporting engineering projects to install new equipment and IQs.

The role requires reading blueprints, understanding hydraulic, electric, mechanical and pneumatic systems, and working with PLCs. A high school diploma or GED is required; an associates degree or two years of technical

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
Associates degree in a technical field is preferred.
Two years of technical experience may substitute for an Associates degree.

Responsibilities

Perform troubleshooting and repair of equipment; diagnose causes.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
Maintain parts inventory.
Support engineering projects with ordering and installation of new equipment.
Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce expenses and improve reliability.
Train operators and assist with machine setup.
