Job summary

Becton Dickinson NA Columbus, NE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service electronic and mechanical equipment, read blueprints, and support continuous improvement under cGMP. You will use hand tools, test equipment, and PLC-related understanding to keep industrial controls and servo-mechanisms running safely and reliably.

This on-site role requires strong English reading/writing, draft documentation, inventory control, and collaboration with engineering.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates Degree in a technical field preferred.
• In lieu of Associates Degree, two years technical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment faults using hand tools and test devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and electronics.
• Maintain parts inventory and support equipment upgrades.
• Assist with installation and IQ testing of new equipment.
• Document changes and maintain accurate records per quality systems.
• Work overtime as needed and participate in off-shift support.
