Job summary

BD is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to service and maintain electronic and mechanical equipment in a cGMP environment. The role requires following blueprints, supporting change control, and ensuring quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, PMs, inventory control, and collaboration with engineering for installation and upgrades. Reading schematics and operating PLCs are part of daily tasks, with overtime as needed and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates Degree in a technical field preferred; or two years technical experience in lieu of degree.
• Must understand hydraulic, electric, mechanical and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose causes and repair equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain parts inventory.
• Support engineering projects—ordering and installing new equipment; IQs.
• Conduct continuous improvement projects to reduce costs and waste.
