Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking an Electro/Mechanical Technician II in Minnesota to troubleshoot and repair a range of production equipment, with emphasis on PLCs, drives, CNC, MES integration, and safety compliance. You will mentor others, drive continuous improvement, and support TPM initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements include a 2-year degree or equivalent and 5 years of related experience, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree and 5 years related experience required.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC and electromechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs and electrical circuits.
• Evaluate equipment for repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Document completed work and maintain parts inventory.
• Coordinate with vendors and schedule machine implementations and testing.
• Assist in TPM objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support safety practices including lockout/tagout and PPE.
