Job summary

Alliance Laundry Systems in Ripon, WI is hiring an Electro Mechanical Technician 3 for 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 3pm–1am). This on-site, direct-hire position focuses on wiring, testing, and maintaining electrical and PLC circuits on our production equipment.

Requires a two-year associate degree and 5+ years’ experience, CMMS usage, and ability to read schematics. We offer $41.41–$44.20 per hour, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, a $3.25 shift differential, plus comprehensive benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree and 5+ years’ work experience required.
• Experience in designing minor electrical circuits and to test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment.
• Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.
• Knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.
• Must perform basic mechanical repairs.
• Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Design minor electrical circuits and test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
• Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
• Must have knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.
• Must perform basic mechanical repairs.
• Must dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures.
• Must install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
• Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions.
• Do lay outs, assembles, installs, tests, repairs, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services to include panels, breakers, and conduit.
• Must mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications.
• Do repairs, installs, replaces and test electrical circuits, and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
• Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader.
