Expect responsibilities designing and testing electrical circuits, wiring controls, and maintaining safety across equipment. Qualification requires a 2-year Associate degree and 2–4 years of related experience, CMMS usage, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Design minor electrical circuits and test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and install controls from schematics or blueprints.
• Mount motors, transformers and lighting fixtures; perform basic mechanical repairs.
• Interpret blueprints and perform layouts, assemblies and tests of electrical systems.

Electro Mechanical Technician 2 – 2nd Shift

Location: Ripon, WI | Type: Direct hire | Work Mode: On site

Salary: Max salary $83k plus with a $5,000 sign-on bonus upon successful hiring

Experience: Mid Level (5-8 yrs exp.)

Start Date: To be decided

Standard Work Hours:

• 2nd Shift M-Th 3pm-1am

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $35.90 to $40.03, commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 upon successful hiring

Responsibilities:

• Design minor electrical circuits and to test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
• Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
• Must have knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.
• Must perform basic mechanical repairs.
• Must be able to perform the work of the lower-class identifications.
• May direct the work of others in the lower classifications.
• Must dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures.
• Must install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
• Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions.
• Do lay outs, assembles, installs, tests, repairs, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services to include panels, breakers, and conduit.
• Must mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications.
• Do repairs, installs, replaces and test electrical circuits, and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
• Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader.

Qualifications:

• Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years’ work experience required.
• Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.
