Job summary

AleraInfoTech in Ripon, WI is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician 2 for 1st shift on site. You will help design, test and repair electrical, PLC and electronic circuits on our manufacturing equipment to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires a two-year Associate degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience, with CMMS usage and ability to read schematics. On-site work with competitive pay and a $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years’ work experience required.
• Experience designing minor electrical circuits and testing/troubleshooting electrical, PLC and electronic circuits.
• Ability to utilize CMMS for parts search and work entry.
• Knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.
• Able to perform basic mechanical repairs.
• Ability to read schematics/blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Design minor electrical circuits and test/troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used in machine control.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
• Install electrical and electronic controls on machines by reading schematics/blueprints.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions to do layouts and installations.
• Mount motors, transformers, lighting fixtures, panels, breakers, and conduit per diagram specs.
• Perform repairs, replacements and testing of electrical circuits and equipment.

Electro Mechanical Technician 2 – 1st Shift

• Location: Ripon, WI
• Type: Direct hire
• Work Mode: On site

Salary: Max salary $83k plus with a $5,000 sign-on bonus upon successful hiring

Experience: Mid Level (5-8 yrs exp.)

Start Date: To be decided

Standard Work Hours:

• 1st Shift M-Th 5am-3pm

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $35.90 to $40.03, commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 upon successful hiring

Responsibilities:

• Design minor electrical circuits and to test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
• Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
• Must have knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.
• Must perform basic mechanical repairs.
• Must be able to perform the work of the lower-class identifications.
• May direct the work of others in the lower classifications.
• Must dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures.
• Must install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
• Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions.
• Do lay outs, assembles, installs, tests, repairs, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services to include panels, breakers, and conduit.
• Must mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications.
• Do repairs, installs, replaces and test electrical circuits, and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
• Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader.

Qualifications:

• Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years’ work experience required.
• Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.
