Job summary

Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited in Ripon, Wisconsin, is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician for the 3rd shift to support our manufacturing operation. You will design, troubleshoot, and install electrical and electronic controls on machines, interpreting schematics and blueprints to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires an Associate degree and 2–4 years of experience, with strong skills in PLCs, electrical circuits, and mechanical repairs.

Qualifications

• Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years of work experience.
• Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.
• Standing for long periods, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending.
• Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Design minor electrical circuits and test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for machine control.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
• Install electrical and electronic controls on machines from schematics or blueprints.
• Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures per diagrams.
• Do layouts, assemble, install, test, repair and adjust electrical fixtures, circuits and wiring.
• Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader.

This 3rd Shift Electro Mechanical Technician position is a great fit for a dedicated professional.

Standard Work Hours: 3rd Shift M-Th 8pm-6am

Compensation - Hourly Rate: $/hr to $/hr, commensurate with experience and qualifications
Shift Differential: $3.25 an hour
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 upon successful hiring

Responsibilities

• Design minor electrical circuits and test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
• Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
• Have knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.
• Perform basic mechanical repairs.
• Perform work of lower-level classifications and may direct the work of others.
• Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures.
• Install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
• Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions.
• Do layouts, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services to include panels, breakers, and conduit.
• Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications.
• Do repairs, installs, replaces and test electrical circuits, and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
• Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader.
