Job summary

Continental Aerospace Technologies™ is seeking an experienced Electrical/Electronic Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems across the facility. You will work on magnetic panels, PLCs, NC/CNC interfaces, and print circuit boards, ensuring safety and compliance with NEC/OSHA standards.

The role requires readiness to work all shifts, pass a skills assessment, and leverage a strong foundation in electrical/electronic tech to support production and facility reliability.

Qualifications

  • Journeyman’s Card or equivalent from a recognized state or trade organization with two additional years of electrical/electronic experience; OR a two-year associate degree in electronics with two years of related experience/training
  • Must be able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
  • Must pass a skills assessment examination

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoots and repairs magnetic panels, digital interfaces, NC and CNC machine tool controls, drives, servos, and electrical sub-systems.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs printed circuit boards to the component level.
  • Designs, modifies, installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains all electrical systems throughout the facility.
  • Creates, adds, modifies, and rewrites PLC programming for facility equipment.
  • Ensures electrical/electronic work conforms to blueprints/specifications and OSHA/NEC/NFPA-78 guidelines.
  • Uses oscilloscopes, frequency counters, meg‑ohm meters, waveform monitors, multimeters and diagnostic software.
  • Requisitions tools, equipment, components to ensure repairs can be performed timely.
  • Performs preventative and predictive maintenance and advises on additional maintenance for safety and reliability.
  • Assists other maintenance personnel in diagnostics and repair of equipment.
  • Evaluates electrical prints/circuitry of new equipment for safety and serviceability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent work ethic and dependability.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
