Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Cary, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for the 3rd shift to support manufacturing operations, diagnose and repair electro-mechanical equipment, and manage parts and preventive maintenance.

The role requires an associate degree or related experience, 3–7 years in manufacturing, proficiency with PLCs and electrical safety, and willingness to train other technicians while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3-7 years maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures knowledge.
• Willing to standby, off-hours and overtime as required.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Able to train Level I/II technicians.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical problems on equipment.
• Set up equipment changes and control adjustments.
• Repair machine components and electrical control circuits.
• Troubleshoot PLC I/O and drive issues.
• Enter work in maintenance software and track parts usage.
• Monitor spare parts usage and order parts.
• Train Level I/II technicians.
• Adhere to safety and quality policies.
