Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for the 3rd shift to support manufacturing operations. The role involves diagnosing and repairing electro-mechanical equipment, performing detailed setup changes, and maintaining machinery to ensure high availability.

Qualified candidates will have an associate degree or equivalent experience and 3–7 years of manufacturing maintenance. Training on safety policies and PLCs is expected, with potential for overtime and standby

Qualifications

• Associate degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-7 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures.
• Able to adhere to safety policies and maintain customer quality.
• Standby assignments; overtime as required.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; training sessions may occur out of state.
• Ability to read printed materials, blueprints, schematics, and computer graphics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment.
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair and maintain mechanical components in top operating condition.
• Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, and related systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC I/O and repair issues; implement new circuits and controls.
