Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support manufacturing operations at the Lithia Springs site. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electro-mechanical equipment, with a focus on electrical controls, PLCs, and preventative maintenance.

The position requires an associate degree and at least 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, with willingness to work overtime and standby shifts.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field is desired
• Minimum 3 years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Must be willing to attend training sessions as needed, including out of state locations
• Ability to assist in Training Level I Technicians
• Intermediate knowledge of fabrication (ex. welding, basic machining)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments
• Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition
• Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, photo eyes, etc.
• Troubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLC and repair issues
• Enter all work completed in computer-based maintenance program
