Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support manufacturing operations on 2nd or 3rd shift. This electro-mechanical role requires diagnosing and repairing complex equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and tracking parts usage.

You will work with PLCs, electrical controls, sensors, pneumatic systems, and blueprints. An associate degree is preferred and a minimum of 3 years’ maintenance experience is required, plus a willingness to

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures.
• Able to adhere to safety policies and ensure quality.
• Standby assignments and overtime as required.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Read prints, schematics and blueprints.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment.
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair and keep mechanical components in top operating condition.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks following instructions.
• Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits and sensors.
• Troubleshoot PLC I/O and repair issues.
• Enter all work completed in computer-based maintenance program.
• Monitor spare parts usage and complete parts order forms.
• Train Level I mechanics in complex tasks and skills.
