Job summary

General Motors Corporation is seeking a Diagnostic Systems Architect for the LV Battery within the VMEC team at Milford Proving Grounds. The role focuses on electrification diagnostics, OBDII alignment, and high voltage system supervision, with a strong emphasis on SDLC processes and cross-functional collaboration.

You will mentor peers, drive standards, and coordinate with architecture, software, and hardware teams to deliver robust diagnostic capabilities for GM's electrification initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience with OBD regulations and battery diagnostics.
• Experience in designing/optimizing electric vehicle supervisory control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of diagnostic algorithms for Electrification Battery & High Voltage systems.
• Mentor engineers and promote standard diagnostic approaches.
• Ensure high-quality diagnostics are delivered on time across teams.
