Job summary
General Motors (GM) is seeking a Diagnostic Systems Architect to advance electrification diagnostics for Battery & High Voltage systems. You will drive diagnostic algorithms, mentor engineers, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality diagnostics across vehicle teams and leadership forums.
The role emphasizes collaboration with architecture, controls, software, and supplier teams, along with strong experience in SAFe/Agile practices and automotive calibration processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Math, CS, Information Tech, Chemistry or equivalent.
- 7+ years of engineering experience.
- Mastery of OBD regulation requirements and battery chemistry basics.
- Experience in designing and optimizing supervisory control systems for EVs.
Responsibilities
- Drive diagnostics algorithms for Electrification Battery & HV systems.
- Mentor engineers and promote common diagnostic approaches across teams.
- Ensure high-quality diagnostics are delivered on time across vehicle teams and leaders.
- Support SAFe epic/feature development and PRTS processes.
- Lead end-to-end controller diagnostics within automotive calibration workflows.
