General Motors Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer for the Battery & High Voltage (BHV) team in Milford, MI. You will design and deliver embedded software for HV battery management, ensuring safe, scalable, and vehicle-ready solutions.

You will work within VMEC on BMS, CAN/LIN/Ethernet communications, diagnostics, and software testing across HIL and vehicle levels. Hybrid work expected with regular onsite presence.

Qualificações

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or related field.
• 2+ years embedded software experience.
• C/C++ and Python proficiency.
• Experience with SiL/HiL or vehicle-level testing.
• Knowledge of MISRA and automotive protocols.
• Diagnostics and verification expertise.
• Document designs and test cases thoroughly.
• Familiar with SW testing environments and Agile tools.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and deliver embedded software for HV battery management.
• Ensure timeliness and quality of software deliverables.
• Apply MISRA and safety requirements across projects.
• Translate requirements into modular software designs and diagnostics.
• Implement and validate software using CAN/LIN/Ethernet and ARXML.
• Develop diagnostics for fault detection and field support.
• Lead code reviews and mentor team members within Scrum.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
