NACCO Industries, Inc. seeks an Electrical Intern for a surface coal mine assignment in Underwood, ND. The program targets students in an electrical program with partial college progress, offering 3- and 15-month opportunities beginning May 2027.

Responsibilities include repairing mining electrical equipment, inspections, and troubleshooting PLC/digital drive systems, with emphasis on safety and MSHA compliance. Must work outdoors, endure weather, and wear PPE.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited electrical program and in good academic standing.
• Completed a portion of college in the associated field of study and intend to complete the degree.
• Applicants need a valid driver’s license.
• Able to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
• Able to work rotating shifts.
• Steel-toed Shoes.
