Job summary

Electrician I at TTUHSC in Amarillo maintains electrical systems and equipment, performs inspections, and ensures compliance with safety codes. The role has no supervisory responsibilities and follows a standard Mon–Fri schedule with on-call rotation.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED and a valid Journeyman Electrician license (Texas or other state) or equivalent experience, with strong blueprint-reading and tool-use skills.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Journeyman Electrician with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (or other state).
  • OR a combination of job-related experience and training to equal four (4) years.
