Job summary

TEEMA Group is seeking an experienced Instructor – Electrical Training to deliver high-quality electrical training in both classroom and hands-on laboratory settings. The role includes preparing and delivering courses, engaging adult learners, administering exams, and updating content to meet industry standards and client needs.

The ideal candidate has substantial electrical industry experience plus strong teaching and communication skills, with an emphasis on safety and practical

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience teaching or delivering formal training to adults.
• 7–15 years of low-voltage industrial installation and troubleshooting.
• Electrical theory knowledge and hands-on electrical skills.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
• Experience with low-voltage residential/electronics installation and troubleshooting preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical installations, grounding, ampacity, motor circuits and protections.
• Experience with motor controls, PLCs, relays and electrical control systems.
• Ability to read electrical prints and diagrams, with technical documentation.
• Knowledge of shock/arc-flash hazards and PPE, safety regulations.
• Experience with low-voltage circuit breakers, maintenance and testing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Adobe apps.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and passport required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver custom and standard electrical training in classroom and laboratory environments.
• Prepare and present lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on lab exercises.
• Lead classroom discussions and create an engaging learning environment.
• Administer and grade examinations and provide feedback to students.
• Apply industry standards and safe work practices to training content and labs.
• Develop new training programs and improve existing courses to meet customer needs.
• Use NFPA, IEEE, ANSI, ASTM, ANSI/NETA, and OSHA standards in training content.
• Travel to customer locations as needed to provide training.
